About Reservations
Q.What time is check-in?

Reservations are accepted between 15:00 and 20:00.

Q.What should I do if I check in late?

Q.When is checkout time?

It's 11:00.

Q.Is early check-in possible?

This may be possible depending on the reservation situation, so please contact us in advance by phone or email.

Q.Is late check-out possible?

This may be possible depending on the reservation situation, so please contact us in advance by phone or email.
The extension fee is 2,500 yen per 30 minutes after 11:00, and 5,000 yen per hour after 12:00.

Q.From when do cancellation fees apply?

Q.What methods can I use to pay for my accommodation?

We require advance payment for reservations. However, we also accept payment by invoice, so please contact us for more information.

Q.Can I get a proof of accommodation?

Yes, we can provide them. If you have any specific documents, please let us know in advance. We can also issue a certificate from our inn.

Q.Can we accommodate more guests than the capacity?

We may be able to accommodate your request depending on the number of guests. If you have a large group, we can also introduce you to lodgings that can accommodate large groups, so please contact us.

Q.Can I change my reservation details?

Please contact us by phone or email.
Please note that for plans with meals included, if you make any changes within two weeks of your stay, a cancellation fee will be charged, so please contact us as soon as possible.

Q.What should I do if there are only minors staying at the hotel?

When staying at a hotel, please have your legal guardian fill out a consent form and submit it by email in advance.

About the inn
Q.Is there a clock and a TV?

There are no clocks or televisions in our accommodation. Please enjoy an extraordinary space, forgetting about time while surrounded by nature.

Q.Is there air conditioning and heating facilities?

Air conditioning and stoves are provided to ensure a comfortable stay.

Q.How big is the refrigerator?

We have refrigerators for home use (for 4 to 6 people).

Q.Can I cook my own meals?

Yes. We have rice cookers, frying pans, pots, knives, cutting boards, and more.

Q.Can I bring in food, drinks and ingredients?

Yes, you can. Please bring whatever you like.

Q.Can I change my meal plan for consecutive nights?

Different meals will be served each day.

Q.Are there any lodgings that accept dogs?

At Rufu Traditional LOOF, four of our facilities are dog-friendly.
In Yamanashi Prefecture, they are called "Okanoie" and "Shonoie."
In Chiba Prefecture, there are "Naminoie" and "Sannoie".

Q.Are there any lodgings with dog runs?

The garden of Sannoie is a dog run.
Please note that the gardens of "Okanoie", "Shonoie" and "Naminoie" do not have fences, so please keep your pet on a leash.

Q.Can I stay with my cat?

Sorry, but we do not accept cats.

Q.My dog has an illness or allergies and cannot be vaccinated. Can I still stay with my dog?

Yes, this is possible as our accommodation only accommodates one group per day and your dog will not come into contact with other dogs.
In addition, just in case anything happens, we usually ask you to present a vaccination certificate.

Q.Are there any lodgings with saunas?

At LOOF, there are 11 lodgings where you can enjoy sauna facilities.
In Yamanashi Prefecture, they are called "Shikinoie" and "Iwainoie."
In Chiba Prefecture, there are "Seinoie", "Yunoie", "Naminoie", "Yuraginoie" and "Kamogawa 919".
In Gunma Prefecture, there are the following Hananoma, Shurei Sanso Tsubomi Tsubonoma, Seiyo Sanso Honkan, and The RURA.

Q.Do you have sauna equipment available?

We provide sauna mats, sauna hats, and sauna ponchos for the maximum number of guests.

Q.Are there any lodgings near the station?

In Yamanashi Prefecture, they are called "Iwainoie", "Tsutanoie" and "Shikinoie".
In Chiba Prefecture, "Yunoie" and "Yuraginoie" are located within a 10-minute taxi ride from the station.

Q.Do you have ice?

We have enough stock to make it in a home refrigerator.
We do not provide ice cubes, so please bring your own.

Q.How long can a bonfire last?

We have two bonfires prepared for you to enjoy for about two hours each.
From the third time onwards, there will be a fee (1,100 yen per set of firewood).

Q.Could you tell me about indoor clothing?

We provide free-size "samue" (work clothes).
Only Sannoie offers "buttoned gowns."

Q.How do I evacuate in an emergency?

There is a diagram of the evacuation routes in the file in your guest room.
If evacuation is necessary, staff will contact you.
In addition, there are disaster prevention backpacks available on-site, so please take them with you when evacuating.

Q.Is Wi-Fi available?

All accommodations are equipped with Wi-Fi

Q.Can I do a surprise for a birthday or anniversary?

We offer an anniversary plan. You can also order cakes and other items separately.
We can also accept bouquets and gifts by mail in advance, so please feel free to contact us.

Q.Are there non-smoking accommodations?

Smoking is prohibited throughout our accommodation.

Q.Can I smoke?

There is an outdoor smoking area.

Q.What time can I dine?

We accept reservations from 17:00 to 20:00. (Irori Kaiseki is available from 17:00 to 19:00.)

Q.What time does breakfast start?

Breakfast is prepared in advance and refrigerated, so you can easily cook it yourself and enjoy it at any time you like.

Q.Is there a menu for children and infants?

Upper elementary school students are provided with the same meal menu as adults.
We have a children's menu available for younger elementary school students and infants.

Q.Do you provide baby food?

We do not provide baby food, so please bring your own.

Q.I have allergies or foods I can't eat. Can you accommodate?

Yes, it is possible. Please let us know in advance about any allergies and the number of people in your group, as this will be asked when you make your reservation.

Q.Can you accommodate vegetarians and vegans?

We will do our best to accommodate your request. Please enter your request in the comments section.

Q.Is there parking available?

Yes, we have free parking for two cars at each accommodation.
If you are bringing more than one car, please contact us in advance.

Q.Have you taken measures against insects?

We provide ultrasonic insect repellent and mosquito coils.

Q.Do you have baby items?

Sakanoie in Yamanashi Prefecture and Yunoya in Yuraginoie Prefecture are fully equipped with baby goods.

Q.Until what time is bonfire allowed?

Available until 9pm.
Please note that there may be times when the service is unavailable depending on the accommodation, so please contact each accommodation to confirm.

Q.Can I have fireworks?

If you have handheld fireworks, you can enjoy them in the garden until 9pm.
We also have fire buckets available at the inn, so please ask a member of staff.

Q.Is it possible to check in without having to come into contact with staff?

Yes, it is possible.
We will guide you through check-in via video call using the iPad provided on the table.

Q.Is it wheelchair accessible?

Wheelchairs can be used up to the dirt floor, but as the interior is made of antique wood and many other materials that are easily damaged, we regret to inform you that we do not allow wheelchairs to be used within the building.
Please note that there are some accommodations that can accommodate wheelchairs if you cover the tires, so please contact us in advance.
