[3rd project in celebration of LOOF 10th anniversary] Talk session to be held: “Think about LOCAL CRAFT BEER and then make it.”

As the third part of LOOF 10th anniversary celebrations, we will be holding LOOF ACADEMY Session 1, "Thinking about LOCAL CRAFT BEER and then making it," on Saturday, December 14th.

◆ LOOF ACADEMY◆
Using local materials from LOOF, top industry players from around the country and local players will share diverse perspectives and knowledge. Together with the participants, we will create things that are unique to the region, increase the LOCAL VARIETY, and lead to the creation of new attractions.

The theme of Session 1 was "Craft Beer."
We spoke with Masafumi Morita, head of the brewing department at Yo-Ho Brewing, who is always leading the craft beer industry with new and interesting challenges, and the Asia Beer Championship 2024 (ABC2024).
We will be welcoming Mr. Shiro Yamada, President and CEO of Far Yeast Brewing Co., Ltd. (Head office: Kosuge Village, Kitatsuru District, Yamanashi Prefecture), which was selected as the Country Champion Brewery, for a lively and in-depth discussion on authentic beer brewing in three parts, with the theme of "Making LOCAL CRAFT BEER as envisioned by LOOF."

Theme: LOCAL VARIETY Make local varieties of beer.
All the things everyone wants to know. Mori-san and Shirou-san will be talking about it in detail.
"Why did you decide to make beer?" "What is the definition of craft beer?"
"The evolution of craft beer brewing" I'd like to hear about the evolution of Far Yeast Beer and Yo-Ho's commitment to craft beer brewing!
"The current state of craft beer around the world. How to create individuality: What is local craft beer like?"
"What if we were to make indigenous Yamanashi beer now?"

[Part 2] 19:30 - 21:30 Japanese Regional Craft Beer Study Group (Stand-up Meal Included) 30 people
You can compare draft beers made by top players as well as popular beers from around the country.
Let's talk about "what is real craft beer?"

[Part 3] 21:30 ~ Overnight stay (sauna & bonfire & overnight stay) Limited to 10 people in total (private rooms and shared sleeping arrangements)
